Description
Daro is a wooden plow made of "tugas" that is used for farming particularly in the initial cultivation of soil in preparation for sowing of seed or planting. This wooden plow was brought by Boholano migrants to Dipolog. From then on, they used the daro to help the farmers in the farm for sowing and planting of seeds. Collector of this artifact is Arch. Jose O. Martinez III. Arch Jose entrusted this collection to the province of Zamboanga Del Norte officials and this can be found at the Provincial Museum (currently location is at the 2nd floor of Provincial Library of Zamboanga Del Norte).
