Description
The New Polo Bridge is believed to be the longest bridge (320 lineal meters) in Region IX, the bridge construction started in 1978 during the administration of former Mayor Germanico A. Carreon and finished in June 1993 under the mayorship of James A. Adaza. It was inaugurated by his Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos on June 22, 1993, the 30th anniversary of the Dapitan City Charter.
