Description
The imposing two-storey house is said to be the biggest and one of the oldest residential houses built by the late spouses Don Aniano Cadavedo Adasa and Doña Aquilana Venusta Carreon in the early 1900s located at Manuel L. Quezon corner Josephine Brecken streets in Dapitan City. Further, this building is a symbol of American Architecture with a touch of Spanish structural lattice artwork. The sliding windows adhere to Japanese style. The city's richness in cultural heritage is greatly and elaborately displayed in this house. Currently, the Adasa Ancestral House is the office of the City Tourism and Heritage Department and also the residence of the shortest living man in the world, Mr. Junrey Balawing as declared by the Guiness World of Record in Sindagan, Zamboanga Del Norte on 12 June 2011.
